Wedding Planner Prices in NSW: What's Actually Included at Each Tier
Couples researching wedding planners in NSW usually start with one question: how much does this cost? But the number on its own doesn't tell you much — what matters is what's actually included at that price point.

Day-of Coordination — the execution layer
This is the entry point, and it's not just someone showing up on the day. It includes a final run sheet built and sent to every vendor, vendor confirmations in the lead-up, a planning meeting, and full-day timeline management from ceremony through reception. What you're paying for is someone who already knows your day inside out before they arrive.
Partial Planning — the finishing layer
This tier includes everything in Day-of Coordination, plus the parts couples usually run out of time or patience for closer to the wedding: sourcing and booking final vendors, budget guidance, styling direction, and three dedicated planning meetings spread across the lead-up. It's for couples who've made a strong start but want a professional to take it the rest of the way.
Full Wedding Planning — the built-from-scratch layer
This is the highest tier, and it includes everything above plus concept and design built from the ground up, full vendor sourcing, a budget built from scratch, and RSVP and seating plan management. Meetings aren't capped — you get as many as the planning actually needs, plus guaranteed vendor meetings.
What's usually left out, regardless of tier
Contract review is a paid add-on across every tier, including Full Planning. Hands-on setup and styling (rather than overseeing it) is also typically an add-on at the Day-of Coordination and Partial Planning levels. Travel is quoted separately based on your specific venue rather than folded into the headline price. It's worth asking any planner directly what falls outside the base price — that's usually where quotes start to differ more than the headline number suggests, and where couples get caught out comparing two planners who aren't actually offering the same thing.
Why prices vary this much between planners
Two planners can both call themselves a "Day-of Coordinator" and charge very different amounts, because there's no industry-standard definition of what that includes. Some coordinators offer a single planning meeting and eight hours on the day; others, like The Kept Aisle, build in vendor confirmation, a full run sheet, and genuine familiarity with your day before they arrive. Location matters too — Sydney metro pricing generally runs higher across every tier than regional NSW, partly reflecting cost of living and partly reflecting demand. How to read a quote properly
